Actions Taken:
1. W. Heitin presented his proposal to “pay-down” debt and directly pay for capital expenditures.
2. G. Gladstone presented an updated estimate for the reconstruction of the Community Center, to be $9.5M.
3. M. Baskin presented an update to the Wilber Municipal Building project. The proposal for the hazardous material abatement of the building is estimated to be $500K.
4. The FinCom has requested that the operating budget for the Community Center be disclosed when available to all concerned committees.
Votes Taken:
1. MOVED by J. Hitter, and duly seconded, that the minutes of the September 29, 2005 meeting be accepted. VOTED in the affirmative (3-0-2).
2. MOVED by J. Hitter, and duly seconded, that the Committee support the authorization of $500,000 for the hazardous material abatement of the Wilber Municipal Building. VOTED in the affirmative (5-0-0).
